Adopts the Sony FCB-EX480CP mechanics, automatic tracking and manually locked tracking are enabled. Horizontal 360 degrees continuous rotation, maximum speed reaches 400 degrees/second; vertically from -2 degree to 93 and 180 degrees automatic overturn, maximum speed reaches 400 degrees/second. It is the most advanced intelligent monitoring camera.

1) Automatic tracking

The speed dome is in an automatic mode. When a motion object enters into the field of view, the speed dome detects it and tracking its motion orbit. Constantly keeps the object is in the center of the vision field. In the menu, there are two options to set the target to be tracked: the object entering firstly or the object moving most dramatically. The tracking is fast and smooth. This feature is applicable to the environment with unattended operation such as the bank vault, ammunition dump, power station, etc.

Tracking and alarm:

In the menu, the interlocked alarm can be enabled when the object enters the vision field. (The speed dome can output an alarm)

2) Manually lock the target

The operator chooses the interested target in the vision field, pulls the target into the center of the vision field, and presses on the ‘Open’ button. Afterwards, the speed dome keeps on tracking this object continuously, regardless of whether it’s moving or still. The tracking is fast and smooth. Even though there are multiple motion objects, the speed dome won’t change its tracking object. This application is applicable to some complicated environment. For example, if there is a thief trying to stealing something, the operator can pull him into the cross area in the vision field (if you are using certain company’s DVR, double-click on the thief will move him to the center of the monitoring window). After the target is manually locked, the speed dome will only track the thief and not to track the other people. It will help the policemen to catch the thief.  

3) Intelligent analysis

   The speed dome can analyze the vision field and determine whether there is some intruder. When the intruder is detected, there are two alarm outputs can be used (you may only activate one of them or activate both of them). Whether there is intruder can only be displayed on the monitoring screen using some predefined strings. Totally there are three vision analysis fields, and in each field, you can set three areas, the speed dome will analyze the preset area and determine whether there is intruder.

The speed dome uses high-speed DSP to implement the motion detection and orbit tracking, also adopts advanced stepping motor controlling algorithm. The tracking is fast and smooth. Automatic/manual tracking and intelligent analysis are enabled.
